New Puppies Soon! KingFisher’s Malamute Colors How to Reserve Your Puppy… About KingFisher Alaskan Malamutes
New Puppies Soon! We have several litters coming in the near future!  To see what litters are coming click on the Coming Litters link at the top of the page, it is under the Available Puppies link!

Something to consider when choosing a puppy: Woolly Giant Alaskan Malamutes need to be brushed.  Charger LOVES IT!  Giant Alaskan Malamutes have 2 types of coats.  Woolly like Charger & Ziva, and Standard like Koda & Klutina. Coat type is something to think about when choosing your Giant Alaskan Malamute. Our next few litters should have both types of coats.

KingFisher’s Malamute Colors All of these puppies have the same parents, Ziva & Charger. Alaskan Malamutes come in several distinct colors.  While gray and white, and black and white are the most common, here at KingFisher’s we are proud to have all the different colors available…
How to Reserve Your Puppy… A $500.00 deposit is due to reserve your puppy. All deposits are non-refundable.  Your deposit comes off the price of the puppy.  For example if your puppy cost is $1600, then you will owe a balance of $1100.  Puppies are chosen in the order of when deposits are received.

Malamutes are a dogs that love people.  Different than the “husky” the malamute will love you, and will make a great family pet, and a loving companion.  Be careful because the malamute love is very addicting.  Our first malamute Kyra changed our lives, and now we spend most of our time devoted to the breed.

KingFisher’s Mighty Koda

Koda has produced some of the most sought after Malamutes in the world.  His son Timber is just one example of the Giant lines that stand out so well.  He is one of the most amazing Giant Red Alaskan Malamutes alive today! Koda is going to be retiring soon, and we only a couple more litters with him planned.

According to  AKC

The Alaskan Malamute, one of the oldest Arctic sled dogs, is a powerful and substantially built dog with a deep chest and strong, well-muscled body. The Malamute stands well over the pads, and this stance gives the appearance of much activity and a proud carriage, with head erect and eyes alert showing interest and curiosity. The head is broad. Ears are triangular and stand up when alerted. The muzzle is bulky, only slight diminishing in width from root to nose. The muzzle is not pointed or long, yet not stubby. The coat is thick with a coarse guard coat of sufficient length to protect a woolly undercoat.  Face markings are a distinguishing feature. These consist of a cap over the head, the face either all white or marked with a bar and / or mask. The tail is well furred, carried over the back, and has the appearance of a waving plume.
